How I Found Out Who Was Spying on My Social Media

ADS

Have you ever felt like someone was spying on your social media? I always thought it was all in my head, until I noticed some strange things.

Old likes resurfacing, constant views of my stories from profiles that never interact and even random messages from people I barely know.

That's when I decided to test some apps to see who was spying on my social networks. And look, what I discovered was, to say the least, curious!

So, if you also suspect that you have a stalker (or several), I'm going to tell you about my experience with some apps that promise to reveal who's been keeping an eye on your profile.

And the best part: do they really work?

Why Did I Decide to Test These Apps?

The final straw for me was when a former coworker, who hadn't spoken to me in years, started liking my posts from months ago.

What do you mean? Out of nowhere, he decided to “revisit” my online life? Did he always see my stories? I had no way of knowing.

That's when I decided to download some apps and test whether they could really help me find out who was spying on me.

Apps I Tested to Find Out Who Was Spying on Me

After doing a lot of research, I chose a few apps that looked promising. I tested each of them for a few days and here are the results:

1. InLog

THE InLog It was one of the first ones I tested and it surprised me right away. It monitors who interacts with you and generates reports with the profiles that visit your profile the most.

I noticed that there were some people who always appeared at the top of the list, even though they never liked or commented on anything. Coincidence? I don't think so!

What I liked:

  • Daily reports on who visited my profile
  • Notifications when someone different appears on the radar
  • Very easy to use interface

What I didn't like:

  • The free version has some limitations
  • Some advanced features are paid

2. Xprofile

This app is more focused on Instagram, and I really liked the way it presents the information.

It not only shows you who is following your profile, but also who has unfollowed you and who are your most engaged followers.

I found that some people I thought interacted with a lot barely showed up in the reports.

On the other hand, some who never liked anything were always there. Coincidence? I don't think so!

Highlights:

  • Detailed interaction reports
  • Monitoring followers and who unfollowed you
  • “Hidden stalkers” feature (profiles that visit your profile a lot, but never interact)

3. Followers Insight

THE Followers Insight It was also a positive surprise. It focuses on Instagram and provides data on who visits your profile the most, who engages the most and who is likely to spy on you without interacting.

What caught my attention the most was the list of “ghost followers” – those who are there, but never like or comment on anything.

I was shocked to see how many profiles were in this category! I even found some “stalkers” that I already suspected, but wasn’t sure about.

What I found interesting:

  • Real-time updates
  • Show ghost followers
  • Identify who visits your profile the most

4. Reports+

This is one of the most comprehensive apps I’ve tested. It not only reveals who visits your profile, but also provides insights into engagement and even identifies fake followers.

In addition, I discovered that there were some suspicious accounts always keeping an eye on my profile, but that never interacted.

App Highlights:

  • Monitors profile visits
  • Identify ghost and fake followers
  • Detailed interaction reports

And After All, Do These Apps Really Work?

Well, here comes the question everyone asks: do these apps really show who is spying on you? The answer is… it depends.

They don’t have direct access to social networks to say with 100% certainty who visited your profile, but they analyze interactions and patterns to give you a pretty accurate “guess”.

What I realized:

  • They can actually identify suspicious patterns.
  • Plus, if you already suspect someone, these apps can help confirm your suspicions.
  • No app will give you an exact list of visitors, but it gives you good clues.

How to Protect Yourself from Stalkers

If you find out that someone is spying on you and want to protect yourself, here are some tips I use:

  • On Instagram, you can create a list of “Close Friends” and share stories only with them.
  • Never mark where you are, especially if you are alone.
  • Are there strange people following you? Block or remove them.
  • Enable two-factor authentication, This prevents your account from being hacked.

If you're curious about who's spying on your social media, these apps can give you some good clues.

I discovered some very interesting (and even scary) things about who has been watching me.

So, if you try any of these apps, let me know in the comments if it worked for you! And if you know of another good app for this, share the tip!

Finally, you can download these apps both on iOS, as in Android.
